Pop’s Repairs is seeking an experienced Skilled Trades Technician to join our team of licensed HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing contractors on the Outer Banks. This role is ideal for a well-rounded tradesperson who can handle a variety of tasks and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Tradesperson Position Overview
As a Skilled Trades Technician, you will be responsible for performing installation, repair, and maintenance work across multiple trades. The ideal candidate has experience in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing, along with the ability to work independently and efficiently on residential and commercial projects.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Skilled Trades Technician, you are responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
- Performing electrical work, including wiring, troubleshooting, and panel upgrades.
- Completing carpentry projects, such as framing, flooring, and cabinetry.
- Handling plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring efficient water flow.
- Read blueprints, follow safety regulations, and collaborate with a team.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications:
- 21 years or older
- Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
